how can i ever forget this film? we have a tape and napanood ko 'to 1996, same age as the characters, ten years after the movie was released. it was when corey feldman was a dork (he still is) and jerry o' conell was fat and river phoenix was so cool and alive. and the one who plays gordie was... i don't know who he is, ha. so much cooler than now and then, it's one of my favorites.


I wanted to share my friends' enthusiasm, but I couldn't. That summer at home I had become the invisible boy.


i will forever remember the pie eating contest scenes (Lardass) and the swamp/marsh scene na puro linta eew! and yung all-time train dodge scene -- makapigil hininga when you're twelve. and the explicit words you will hear... bad words, bad words, bad words. it was more than alright with me. first time i heard a lollipop song. and of course Ben E. King's masterpiece. hehehe! based on stephen king's The Body.

Motion Picture Association Of America rated it R. why is that? bad words, bad words, bad words. ayos, let's go to Royal River!!!
