Upcoming Flicks and Noong Bata Pa Ako
I heard there is a new Unitel flick, aside from the Pinoy Blonde one. Nasaan Si Francis? Starring Rico Blanco and Karl Roy. Can’t wait to see that one... and of course, The Corpse Bride of Tim Burton. I was able to watch The Nightmare Before Christmas on cable years ago and I just love the characters and songs.
Anyway, While they were playing, naghaharutan is more like it, I once over heard my brother the anti-fat (super payatot niya talaga) say to Paolo the super fat naman, (para silang commercial ng FunChum, my best bud) “Jinx 1 2 3, money for me!”
Wow. Panahon pa ni Mahoma ‘yun ah. We were using that expression when we were kids pa. Ginagamit pa pala yun ngayon? Uso pa ba ang Pendong Peace at Gaya-gaya puto maya? What is puto maya by the way? When we were younger, my nanay always says “Bottoms Up!” or “All the way down!” when we were drinking Sustagen. Teka, may Sustagen pa ba?
When I was in Creative Learning School (dun sa may DepEd dati, yellow yung uniform na may teddy bear) bumibisita sa school si Suzy and Geno. At five years old, hindi ko mawari kung bakit malahigante yung dalawang batang yun and bakit hindi gumagalaw yung bibig nila. Wala man lang nagturo sa akin kung ano ang mascot. Then, may nagpupunta din na taga-coke na may dalang mga yo-yos. Feeling ko magic trick yung “Walking the Dog” at “Rock-a-bye Baby.” Pero hindi ko maalala kung na enjoy ko talaga yung mga yun. Dahil marami ding yaya na nanonood, medyo natatakpan nila yung 2 higanteng bata at yung mga yoyo performers.
Sa UPIS naman, usong bumisita yung mga nagtitinda ng libro (Ibong adarna, Ibalon...), nagbebenta ng fertilizer at buto ng kung anu-anong gulay, at yung pinaka sikat sa mga chikiting: yung nagbebenta ng clay. He he he.
